Baggie's Chilli Sticks
Baggie’s Chilli Sticks are a traditional South African cured meat produced right here in Singapore. We use Australian grass-fed Halal Beef Steak marinaded in special biltong spices, comprising coriander, pepper, salt and chilli for that extra kick. Chilli sticks make a great snack, as they are small strips they are very easy to pick up and chew. It is a perfect healthy snack and packed full of protein (est. 60-65%).
We make our Chilli Sticks in our Singapore butchery and deli shop. We marinade our meat and then dry it for a number of days in our custom built meat curing chamber until it reaches the optimum level of dryness and flavour. Our shop is located in the Fortune Centre on Middle Road which is a short walk from Bugis and Bencoolen MRT stations. Feel free to drop by and see how it is all done.
Biltong came about hundreds of years ago, when the preservation of food was a challenge with no electricity and fridges available. The meat was sliced and cured with salt. Over time the curing process evolved, and the end product is the beautiful cured beef biltong we know today.
South African Biltong is similar to American Beef Jerky. Of course Baggie’s Biltong is a lot, lot better than beef jerky. In fact Baggie's Biltong is some of the best Biltong you can find!

Dried grass-fed Beef: 490g (98%)
Biltong spice mix 10g (2%)
Spice mix contains:
Coriander seeds and powder
Your Chilli Sticks should be stored in the refrigerator in a breathable container, such as the paper bag it comes in, and kept away from any excess moisture.
For guaranteed freshness you should store as directed and consume within one week of receipt.
